Geomatics Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 95,000Role:
Responsible specialist function in the field of geomatics and network documentation with a focus on electricity, water, and communication networks. The position includes maintaining and further developing the GIS database, surveying and documenting utility lines, as well as supporting the planning and implementation of network projects. A varied role with modern technology, high personal responsibility, and a direct contribution to a safe and future-proof supply infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the GIS database including interface management
Creating and managing utility plans in the GIS
Conducting GPS surveys, field recordings and documentation of utility lines
Preparation of network diagrams, project plans and technical documentation
Ensuring a complete and up-to-date network documentation as a basis for safe network operation
Qualifications:
Completed training as a geomatics specialist, draughtsperson EFZ or a comparable technical qualification in the utilities sector
Experience in the maintenance and documentation of utility lines as well as handling utility registers
Good knowledge of CAD and GIS systems
Experience with surveying techniques, GPS surveying and field recordings
Knowledge in the area of utility networks such as electricity, water and communication is an advantage
Good IT user skills in MS Office
Very good German language skills spoken and written
