Your Main Responsibilities
- Evaluate new hardware and software components for our industrial ICT systems and accompany their introduction from integration through testing to successful commissioning
- Analyse the impact of new ICT components on existing system landscapes and derive well-founded recommendations for action
- Maintain, continuously develop, and optimise production and industrial systems
- Advise and support development teams and users on system-technical issues
- Create and maintain system documentation, operating concepts, and documents for change, incident, and problem management
- Analyse, resolve, and develop sustainable solutions for faults in hardware, software, and communication components
Your Profile
- Completed education in computer science as well as advanced training (HF/FH or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in operating and further developing complex ICT systems
- Sound knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, networks (TCP/IP), databases, and PC hardware
- Experience in an industrial environment or production IT is an advantage; knowledge of GMP-regulated systems is a plus
- Willingness for on-call duty and a category B driving licence
- Willingness to travel to our production sites in Switzerland, Germany, China, and the USA (up to two months per year, spread over several assignments)
- Good German and good English skills (each at B2 level)
