Role:
You have a broad technical understanding and want to comprehensively manage and further develop demanding IT infrastructures? In this versatile role, you work at the interface of servers, networks, cloud services and IT security. You plan and implement technical solutions, integrate new systems and ensure that IT environments function reliably, securely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement and manage client-server as well as on-premises infrastructures with Windows Server, virtualisation and storage.
You are responsible for the setup and further development of network components, firewalls, WLAN and VPN solutions as well as security and backup concepts.
You integrate Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID into existing environments and manage identity management, endpoint security and recovery solutions.
You ensure reliable operation through monitoring, remote management and structured troubleshooting and manage communication solutions based on VoIP and Microsoft Teams.
You carry out migrations and system integrations, automate recurring tasks and evaluate new technologies and AI applications for their concrete operational benefits.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science, ICT system technology or a comparable technical field and have practical experience in building and operating IT infrastructures in a business customer environment.
You are familiar with Windows Server, Active Directory, group policies, RDS as well as virtualisation with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
You have sound knowledge in several areas such as server and storage, routing, switching, VLAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, backup and recovery or Microsoft 365.
You are familiar with system and network diagnostics and ideally have experience with RMM and EDR solutions, Veeam or comparable backup systems as well as with VoIP and SIP telephony.
You quickly grasp complex technical contexts, work independently and in a structured manner and proactively acquire new technologies. Knowledge of PowerShell, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, Conditional Access or technical project management are additional advantages.
