Sales Consultant Wood Products (m/f/d)
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you will take on a versatile sales function with a direct connection to the raw material wood. You combine technical product knowledge with commercial customer service and are active both within the company and externally with business partners.
Responsibilities:
Receive, classify and process enquiries from specialist customers together with the responsible departments
Compile suitable materials based on the respective requirements
Establish new business contacts and strategically expand the existing market environment
Prepare pricing and technical bases for specific customer concerns
Use personal appointments to explain solutions and understand the customer’s needs directly
Include information on availability and stock levels in customer service
Independently pursue sales opportunities and accompany them through to further processing
Act as a reliable contact person between customers, sales and internal processes
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship in the wood sector or a related craft industry
Experience dealing with specialist customers and products requiring explanation
Experience in sales is welcome
Good product imagination and understanding of different wood qualities
Independent work organisation and responsible working
Confident appearance and enjoyment of personal conversations
Reliable communication and good negotiation skills
Driving licence category B
