Overall Project Manager Client Representation (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF130,000 - 135,000Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Senior Project Manager Client Representation for the overall management of complex new build, renovation and maintenance projects. You will accompany demanding construction projects from the feasibility study and project development through planning and tendering to realisation and handover. In doing so, you represent the interests of the client, lead interdisciplinary planning teams and are responsible for costs, deadlines, quality, risks and profitability. The position combines strategic construction project management with sound technical understanding and comprehensive responsibility on the client side.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the development and realisation of complex new build, renovation and maintenance projects
Representation of the client throughout all relevant project and realisation phases
Management of feasibility studies, variant assessments and cost-effectiveness analyses
Leadership and control of interdisciplinary planning teams, specialist planners and experts
Coordination of requirements from users, operations, ownership and investors
Preparation and validation of phase-appropriate cost estimates, cost proposals and cost forecasts
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality and risk management as well as corresponding project controlling
Assessment of building constructions, execution variants and construction processes in terms of quality and profitability
Establishment and leadership of a structured project quality management (PQM)
Management of tenders, awards and contract management as well as conducting negotiations with project partners
Monitoring of schedule programmes, milestones and critical project paths
Coordination and communication with authorities, planners, companies, neighbours and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
Completed education in architecture, civil engineering or construction project management at ETH, university, FH or HF level
Several years of experience in overall project management of demanding building projects
Sound experience in client-side construction project management and client representation
Very good knowledge of construction cost planning, project controlling, schedule and risk management
Sound knowledge of the Swiss tendering, awarding and contract system as well as the relevant SIA standards
Experience in leading interdisciplinary planning and project teams
Very good German language skills spoken and written
