Project Manager Ventilation (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced professional for project management and technical planning of ventilation systems in a specialised building services company. You will independently manage demanding ventilation projects from technical design through execution coordination to commissioning and acceptance. Further focuses include coordinating installation teams and subcontractors, CAD-supported ventilation planning, as well as cost, schedule, and quality management. The position combines technical expertise in ventilation technology with operational project responsibility and direct contact with clients, specialist planners, and executing companies.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of ventilation systems in new build, conversion, and refurbishment projects in residential, commercial, and industrial construction

• Technical planning and design of ventilation and air conditioning systems considering project-specific requirements for indoor climate, air quality, and energy efficiency

• Dimensioning of air distribution networks and ventilation components including air volume calculations, pressure loss calculations, and selection of suitable system parts

• Creation and review of CAD planning documents including ventilation floor plans, schematic diagrams, installation plans, and technical detail drawings

• Coordination of installation personnel, specialist planners, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure professional and timely project execution

• Responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality management including project budgeting, cost control, and monitoring of construction progress

• Technical coordination with clients, architectural offices, and other building services planners to coordinate interfaces and installation spaces

• Organisation and supervision of installation work including site inspections, execution controls, and technical problem solving

• Creation and maintenance of project documentation including technical specifications, material lists, execution documents, and revision documentation

• Coordination of material procurement and delivery dates as well as review of technical supplier documents and components

• Support during commissioning, functional checks, and air volume measurements as well as conducting technical acceptance and defect rectification

• Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards and ventilation regulations, especially SIA 382/1, as well as project-specific quality and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner: ventilation EFZ, ideally with further training as a technician HF building services or equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in ventilation planning and project management, preferably with responsibility for the realisation of complex ventilation systems

• Sound knowledge in dimensioning and technical design of ventilation systems, especially air volume calculation, duct network planning, and selection of ventilation components

• Good CAD user skills, for example in AutoCAD, Nova or Revit, as well as confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knowledge of Swiss building services standards, especially SIA 382/1, as well as relevant technical requirements for ventilation and air conditioning systems

• Experience in coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers as well as in cost, schedule, and quality management

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a category B driving licence
