Junior Assistant Medical Officer (a)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

• You will learn how to deal with patients and their relatives in the acute ward for General Internal Medicine
• Taking medical histories and status examinations of internal medicine patients
• Acquisition of manual skills under supervision such as pleural, ascites or lumbar punctures, blood gas analysis, wound care and insertion of venous lines
• Rotation opportunities to the emergency department and the medical outpatient clinic
• Learning administrative medical tasks such as writing medical records, progress notes and reports, case presentations at handovers, ward rounds and further training
• At KSBL we live a first-name culture, respecting the individual wish for formal address
