Experienced Ruby on Rails Developer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 130,000Role:
Dive into a responsible role where you design, implement, and continuously improve complex web applications with Ruby on Rails. In this position, you take full technical responsibility for key backend components, design software architectures, and make fundamental technology decisions. You analyse business requirements, translate them into clean, maintainable code, and ensure high quality standards through testing, reviews, and automated processes. Additionally, you optimise existing functions regarding performance, security, and scalability, and actively contribute your own ideas. Through your experience, you support other developers, provide technical feedback, and contribute to a professional engineering culture.
Responsibilities:
- As an experienced Ruby on Rails developer, you are responsible for the entire stack and life cycle of our applications.
- You work in a young, competent team on highly interesting software projects.
- In this role, you use modern technologies purposefully to develop high-quality solutions.
- You take on a lot of personal responsibility and contribute to the quality of results with your high level of competence.
- As an experienced Ruby on Rails developer, you support both customised customer projects and long-established products.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of experience as a full stack software engineer with Ruby on Rails and are proficient in SQL.
- You are comfortable working with Linux systems and command line interfaces (including ssh, scp, vim).
- Independent working is natural to you, while you also value teamwork.
- You communicate very confidently in German, both orally and in writing.
- You approach tasks analytically and structurally and work efficiently and with quality awareness.
- Customer-oriented thinking, correct conduct, as well as flexibility, discipline, and team spirit characterise you.
