Draftsperson Civil Engineering (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering to work on diverse civil engineering, infrastructure, and landfill construction projects in an established Swiss engineering office. You will support the planning and realisation of road and utility construction and participate in construction surveying, structural monitoring, and digital terrain modelling. The focus is on creating precise 2D and 3D plan documents, technical project processing, and the use of modern CAD and BIM methods. Depending on experience and interest, you will take on additional tasks in construction management, tendering, and project coordination, as well as optionally in structural engineering and solid construction.

Responsibilities:

• Independent creation and processing of project, execution, and detail plans for road construction, utility construction, and other infrastructure projects

• Planning collaboration on civil engineering projects from preliminary planning through the construction project phase to execution planning

• Development of utility plans and technical detail drawings for water, wastewater, and other supply infrastructures

• Handling landfill construction projects including terrain design, terrain modelling, development, and technical plan documents

• Creation and further development of digital terrain models based on survey data, elevation information, and existing terrain recordings

• Use of Allplan in 2D and 3D construction as well as collaboration in the further development of digital planning processes and BIM methods

• Support in construction surveying and terrain recordings including preparation, evaluation, and transfer of survey data into CAD models

• Participation in structural monitoring by documenting measurement data, creating technical representations, and supporting control measurements

• Coordination and alignment of plan documents with civil engineers, specialist planners, authorities, and executing companies

• Collaboration in tenders and submissions including quantity surveys, measurement calculations, and preparation of technical tender documents

• Assumption of supporting construction management tasks such as site inspections, construction progress documentation, and coordination with contractors, depending on professional experience

• Optional collaboration on structural engineering projects with a focus on solid construction, formwork, and reinforcement planning

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering or an equivalent construction-technical education

• Experience in the drafting and constructive processing of civil engineering projects, especially in road, utility, or infrastructure construction

• Knowledge in creating project, execution, and detail plans as well as in the technical implementation of civil engineering specifications

• Confident handling of CAD applications; knowledge of Allplan 2D/3D, digital terrain models, or BIM is an advantage

• Basic knowledge in construction surveying, terrain modelling, or structural monitoring or interest in deepening these areas

• Knowledge of Swiss civil engineering practice and relevant VSS and SIA standards; experience in tendering or construction management is an advantage
