DRYWALL INSTALLER

?? 1. Preparation Work

• Read and interpret plans and execution diagrams.

• Prepare the supports (marking out, identifying, cleaning surfaces).

• Install the metal frameworks (rails, studs, hangers, furring strips).

• Ensure protection of work areas (floors, joinery, installations).

?? 2. Installation and Assembly

• Install plasterboard sheets (BA13, BA15, water-resistant, fire-resistant, etc.) on walls and ceilings.

• Create partitions, linings and suspended ceilings.

• Carry out precise cutting of boards according to dimensions.

• Incorporate openings for electricity, plumbing, ventilation, etc.

• Install thermal and acoustic insulation before closing partitions.

?? 3. Finishing

• Apply joint tapes and plastering.

• Sand and prepare surfaces before painting or covering.

• Correct defects to obtain a smooth and even surface.

• Optionally install decorative or technical panels (designer ceilings, specific claddings…).

?? 4. Control and Quality

• Check flatness, levels and alignments.

• Ensure secure fixing and compliance with acoustic and fire protection standards.

• Control drying times and site cleanliness.

?? 5. General and Behavioural Skills

• Be autonomous, careful and rigorous.

• Work in team with other trades (plumbers, electricians, painters, etc.).

• Manage your tools (screwdriver, saw, board lifter, laser…).

• Respect safety instructions on site.

• Have a sense of detail and pride in work well done.
