Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for the technical responsibility of HVAC systems within a demanding production infrastructure. You ensure high system availability and operational safety and further develop the building technology systems technically and energetically. In addition to analysing and sustainably resolving faults, you are responsible for renewal, optimisation and investment projects. You also develop a long-term HVAC strategy and investment roadmap for economical and reliable system operation.
Responsibilities:
Assuming technical specialist responsibility for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within the production and operational infrastructure
Ensuring high system availability, operational safety and energy efficiency as well as continuous monitoring of the technical system condition
Independent fault and weak point analysis including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable improvement measures
Planning and managing renewal, optimisation and investment projects from the concept phase to commissioning
Developing a long-term maintenance and investment strategy including prioritisation and creation of a technical roadmap
Preparing technical concepts, investment proposals, cost estimates and profitability calculations
Identifying and implementing measures for the energy optimisation of HVAC systems and reduction of lifecycle costs
Planning and coordinating preventive and condition-based maintenance as well as defining suitable maintenance strategies
Coordinating internal specialist departments, external planning offices, service technicians, suppliers and system builders
Supporting tenders, technical evaluations and awards for systems, components and services
Responsibility for commissioning, acceptance and technical documentation of new and replacement systems
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, energy, safety and operational regulations in the field of building technology
Qualifications:
Completed basic HVAC training EFZ, for example as a heating installer or ventilation system builder
Further training as a Dipl. Technician HF Building Technology or Bachelor FH Building Technology/Energy, preferably specialising in heating/ventilation
Several years of professional experience in operation, maintenance and optimisation of complex HVAC systems, ideally in an industrial or production-related environment
Sound knowledge of system availability, operational safety, maintenance planning and energy optimisation
Experience in investment projects, technical concepts and profitability calculations
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building technology regulations
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
