Director

Your mission: Lead the development of the School

Reporting to the Foundation Board, you ensure the management, development and influence of the La Source Institute & University of Applied Sciences of Health (hereinafter: the School).

You propose the School’s strategy to the Foundation Board and, once validated or adjusted, you oversee its operational implementation, respecting academic, regulatory and economic requirements.

As head of the Executive Committee, you unite the teams, support the School’s transformations and anchor your actions in the values of excellence, innovation and humanism of the La Source Foundation.

Your main responsibilities

• Propose the School’s strategy to the Foundation Board and oversee its development and overall management, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance and economic sustainability.
• Lead and unite the Executive Committee, ensure coordination between academic and administrative units, support the School’s digital transformation and promote an agile, collaborative and high-performing organisation.
• Guarantee the quality and excellence of the School’s services, support the evolution of teaching, research & development as well as pedagogical, clinical and technological innovation.
• Ensure a first-class student experience, student safety and maintain constructive dialogue with the student community.
• Represent the School to authorities, HES-SO, academic, clinical and professional partners and contribute to its national and international influence.
• Develop synergies within the La Source Foundation, notably with the La Source Clinic, and contribute to the realisation of joint projects involving the School.

Your profile

• HES nursing diploma or equivalent qualification, complemented by a relevant second-cycle university degree; a doctorate is an asset.
• Proven experience in management or leadership in the academic or professional training field.
• Excellent knowledge of the Swiss education and health systems and their regulatory and political environment.
• A recognised leader, unifier and diplomat, with strong strategic thinking skills and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in French and English; German is an asset.
