Accountant with Focus on Debtors & Financial Statements (m/f/d) 80–100 %
Location: Zurich Oberland Region / ZH (easily accessible by public transport and car)
Workload: 80 % / 100 %
Start: Immediately or by arrangement
Employment type: Permanent position
- As an Accountant, you ensure the precise handling of our daily business and actively participate in periodic financial statements:
Debtor & Receivables Management:
- Independent management of accounts receivable including reconciliation of all incoming payments via various payment service providers
- Handling of dunning and debt collection processes as well as resolving payment discrepancies in close cooperation with internal interfaces
Financial Accounting & Multi-currency:
- Daily posting and reconciliation of all bank transactions in various currencies
- Reconciliation and processing of intercompany settlements within the group
Financial Statements & Further Development:
- Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prospective assumption of additional tasks (e.g. VAT returns)
- Deputising in the accounts payable area and contributing to process optimisations in finance
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Qualification: Professional certificate in finance and accounting (federal FA) or a comparable higher qualification in finance.
- Experience: At least 5 years of solid practice in financial accounting, preferably in an international environment or corporate context.
- Expertise: Proven experience in accounts receivable, handling foreign currencies, intercompany transactions and initial financial statement tasks.
- IT Skills: Proficient use of common ERP systems as well as good MS Office skills (especially Excel).
Languages:
- Very good German skills
- Good English skills
- French skills are a plus
- Working conditions: 40-hour week, flexible working time models and at least 5 weeks’ holiday.
- Security: Employment under the collective labour agreement (GAV MEM sector) including 100 % continued salary payment in case of illness/accident (up to 6 months).
