An experienced professional is sought for a demanding IT environment to actively shape the operation and further development of modern cyber security infrastructures. The focus is on network security, firewall technologies, secure access and the integration of cloud solutions.
In this role, you combine technical engineering with the further development of security architectures and ensuring stable operational processes. Together with internal specialist departments and external partners, you develop sustainable security solutions and contribute your expertise to varied projects.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and operation of firewall, WAF, proxy, SASE and DDI solutions as well as remote access technologies
Integration and further development of security solutions in hybrid and cloud-based environments
Design, implementation and optimisation of technical security solutions
Participation in incident, change and problem management as well as taking on operational responsibility
Further development of security architectures, standards and operating models
Collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners to ensure stable security services
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science or basic IT training with solid professional experience
Several years of experience in engineering and operating firewall, WAF, proxy, SASE and DDI technologies
Good knowledge of remote access, cloud integrations and modern network security solutions
Relevant security certifications are an advantage
Analytical, structured and independent working style with strong customer orientation
Very good German skills as well as good English skills and willingness for on-call and special deployments
