Role:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced professional for project management in ventilation with a focus on HVAC building technology, ventilation systems, and technical project execution. You will take on the technical and commercial leadership of diverse ventilation projects and be responsible for their successful implementation from project preparation to final billing. The focus is on cost, schedule, and quality control, change order management, as well as the professional leadership and coordination of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers. The position offers a responsible field of activity with a high degree of independence and the opportunity to realise demanding and energy-efficient building technology solutions in close collaboration with customers and project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Independent technical and commercial project management of ventilation systems for diverse building construction and building technology projects

• Overall responsibility for project execution from work preparation through implementation to complete project billing

• Cost, schedule, and quality management with ongoing monitoring of agreed project goals and initiation of appropriate measures in case of deviations

• Project controlling and budget monitoring with control of profitability, project costs, and performance progress

• Change order management and billing of ventilation projects including verification of additional services, preparation of change orders, and preparation of final invoices

• Professional leadership and coordination of involved employees with organisation of workflows and ensuring efficient collaboration

• Management and supervision of subcontractors with coordination of services, schedules, and technical execution requirements

• Technical advice and support for customers as the central contact person for questions regarding ventilation systems and HVAC systems

• Coordination with suppliers and external project partners to ensure timely material deliveries and coordinated project processes

• Supervision of installation and execution on site with control of technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

• Coordination with construction management, specialist planners, and adjacent building technology trades to clarify technical interfaces and optimise execution

• Support during commissioning, acceptance, and project completion ensuring complete project documentation and proper handover

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training in ventilation, HVAC, or building technology, for example as a ventilation system builder EFZ or with a comparable technical basic education

• Further training as a certified technician HF in building technology is an advantage or a comparable qualification in HVAC or technical project management

• Several years of practical experience in project management of ventilation and HVAC projects with a solid understanding of technical systems and construction processes

• Knowledge in cost, schedule, and quality management as well as experience with change order management, project billing, and commercial project leadership

• Ability to professionally lead and coordinate employees and subcontractors with organisational skills and a strong sense of responsibility

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with teamwork, communication skills, and enjoyment of direct customer contact

• Confident use of digital tools and common project software as well as good German language skills in spoken and written form for collaboration with customers, suppliers, and project participants
