About the job
Shaping the nursing of tomorrow together. The Insel Group is realigning itself and creating four strong medical departments: Surgery, Medicine, Integrated Medicine, and Cross-sectional Medicine. In the new departments, 8 to 12 clinics and institutes are brought together. This creates a future-oriented organisation that networks medical expertise even more strongly, opens up new opportunities for collaboration and development, and represents leadership responsibility.
What to expect
You will jointly assume overall responsibility for one of the four departments together with your two co-director colleagues from the medical and business administration fields. In doing so, you combine professional excellence with strategic leadership and promote close interprofessional collaboration. Your focus areas:
- Implementation of the Insel Group's corporate strategy
- Leadership of the department; responsibility for medical and economic results
- Further development of the department including service offerings
- Planning and management of capacities and resources
- Ensuring high-quality nursing care and process management
- Budget responsibility
- Personnel management of the nursing organisation of the department
- Promotion of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration across specialist and departmental boundaries
- Ensuring education, further training, and continuing education as well as nursing research
What you bring
You combine nursing excellence with strategic leadership understanding and enjoy interprofessional collaboration. You have:
- A university degree in nursing sciences (Master's or equivalent)
- Several years of leadership experience in a large, ideally university, organisation
- Further training in leadership, management, or business administration
- Respectful interaction on an equal footing as well as pronounced communication skills with clear and effective communication
- Initiative, reliability, and patient- and employee-oriented thinking and acting
