In this demanding role, you will assume overall operational responsibility and, as a driving and visionary force, oversee the strategic development of the company alongside the Board of Directors and management. You will lead the business according to corporate management principles, balancing the requirements of both public and private market environments. In doing so, you will consider the specific framework conditions of a company close to the Confederation, as well as political, societal, and economic developments. You will develop business models, stimulate innovation and digitalisation, and optimise company processes. At the same time, you will foster an inspiring and rewarding entrepreneurial culture. Managing various stakeholders is a major priority for you: both mediator and conductor, you maintain the professional network, unite diverse interests, and create sustainable solutions.
Your profile:
A convincing leadership personality, grounded in reality and confident, you combine entrepreneurial spirit, decisiveness, and strong social skills. You adapt your communication to your interlocutors, have excellent command of one national language, and can express yourself fluently in a second national language.
Your profile:
- university degree in agronomic, environmental or food sciences, veterinary medicine, or business administration;
- several years of leadership and management experience, ideally with overall responsibility in an SME;
- knowledge of the challenges in the Swiss agri-food sector and understanding of its value chains;
- experience in digitalisation and ability to transform technological developments into entrepreneurial opportunities.
