Linux Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Further development, maintenance and operation of Linux systems and storage
Responsibility for life-cycle management and operation of GitLab instances, including CI/CD runners, registry, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes
Integrate and manage open source solutions
This position enables a part-time MSE master’s degree
Qualifications:
Completed training in the field of IT/informatics as well as relevant professional experience are required
University degree in ICT, computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification with relevant further education
Several years of experience in system administration (especially Linux) and DevOps (e.g. with Docker, KVM, Kubernetes)
Experience in automating system configurations with Ansible
Comprehensive knowledge of GitLab, registry, Traefik
Experience with Linux iptables/nftables firewalls, Linux containers, SSH, CLI
Experience working with REST and GitLab APIs using Python or similar languages
You are team-oriented and have a strong customer focus, especially in academic environments
German language skills are mandatory
