Development Engineer for Stamping Tools - Innovation with Experience (m/f/d)

Development and design of new formed parts from capturing customer requirements to the finished technical solution

Development and testing of innovative concepts - from digital feasibility checks through design to prototype development

Development of sophisticated tool solutions for deep-drawn parts as well as targeted further development of existing concepts focusing on productivity, quality and process stability

Development and optimisation of tool solutions in 3D-CAD as well as identification and implementation of improvement potentials

Coordination of cross-departmental design meetings and joint development of technical solutions

Continuous optimisation of processes and designs as well as active implementation of technical improvements

Contribution of own expertise and close collaboration with internal specialist departments in the realisation of demanding tool projects

Bern Region

Several years of experience in tool design, ideally with a focus on stamping and forming technology

Sound knowledge in 3D-CAD design and confident handling of MS Office

Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as a pronounced quality awareness

Technical understanding, initiative and enjoyment in developing practical solutions

Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form

Completed training as a toolmaker or a comparable technical basic education with further training to technician HF or engineer FH in mechanical engineering
