Responsibilities:
You develop and implement security architectures for our Azure platform and embed current protection standards directly in the cloud.
You identify threats in the cloud infrastructure, assess their impact, and derive appropriate countermeasures.
You define preventive controls and implement technical protection mechanisms together with the central cyber security team.
You accompany cloud projects in determining protection requirements and develop suitable security solutions for new platform services.
You maintain cloud security specifications, document technical solutions, and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer within the platform team.
Qualifications:
You have a master's degree in cyber security, computer science, or a comparable technical field, as well as relevant further training or certifications.
You bring several years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity, ideally with a focus on cloud protection and Microsoft Azure.
You have practical experience in offensive security methods such as penetration testing, security assessments, or capture-the-flag formats.
You are familiar with Azure as well as modern cloud services in the areas of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS and have experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD automation.
You work analytically, proactively, and solution-oriented, navigate confidently in complex technical contexts, and communicate very well in German and English.
