As a Cloud Workplace Engineer, you design and operate modern Microsoft cloud environments and support companies in implementing forward-looking digital workplace strategies. You develop secure and high-performance IT workplace solutions, optimise existing platforms, and ensure stable operation of complex cloud and hybrid infrastructures. You work closely with customers and internal teams and accompany technical projects from planning to successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
Further development and administration of modern Microsoft 365 platforms focusing on Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID
Design and implementation of secure modern workplace solutions including endpoint management, Windows Autopilot, software deployment, as well as device and security configurations
Planning and execution of cloud migrations, transitions, and technical IT projects to modernise existing customer environments
Analysis and resolution of complex issues in 2nd-level and 3rd-level support as well as development of sustainable technical solutions
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operating concepts, runbooks, and support as a technical contact person for customers and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience in managing Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory environments
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, especially Conditional Access, identity management, group policies, and hybrid identity solutions
Solid experience with Microsoft Intune, including Autopilot, application deployment, configuration profiles, and compliance policies
Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure, IaaS/PaaS services, and modern cloud and hybrid infrastructures
Independent and structured working style with strong solution orientation, high customer focus, and confident German and English skills
