IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
You want to manage demanding IT environments, solve technical challenges independently, and implement modern infrastructure solutions? In this role, you will take on diverse tasks around servers, networks, cloud technologies, and IT systems. You support various clients in further developing their IT landscape and contribute your technical know-how to the implementation of sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of powerful IT system landscapes based on cloud and local infrastructure platforms.
Administration and optimisation of network components such as switches, WLAN, routers, and firewalls.
Setup, maintenance, and updating of server, workstation, and network systems in various client environments.
Systematic investigation of technical faults and sustainable resolution of complex hardware, software, and network issues.
Participation in the realisation of IT infrastructure projects and continuous improvement of system availability, performance, and security.
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as IT specialist EFZ platform development or an equivalent qualification in the IT field.
Several years of practical experience in the support and administration of IT infrastructures, preferably in a service environment.
Solid knowledge of Windows server systems, Windows clients, and Microsoft 365.
Good expertise in VPN, routing, firewall technologies as well as experience with virtualisation and cloud platforms.
Strong technical understanding, independent and structured working style, team spirit and customer orientation, very good German language skills spoken and written, English skills advantageous, and a category B driving licence.
