CAD & CAE Engineer (a) (80 -100%) for the Engineering Services Department

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly seeking highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in Engineering Services, we are looking for a committed CAD & CAE Engineer (a) (80 -100%). In this position, you will be responsible for the planning and engineering of production and infrastructure facilities, coordinate the creation of 3D models and planning documents, and accompany projects through to successful realisation. Furthermore, we offer you the opportunity to develop into an AVEVA Super-User and to take on a central role in the support and further development of our engineering platforms in the long term.

Your tasks:

CAD / CAE Plant Planning

• Planning and creation of 3D models for production, chemical, and pharmaceutical plants within the scope of conversion and new construction projects
• Creation and maintenance of planning and engineering documents such as P&ID diagrams, isometrics, parts lists, and support drawings 
• Coordination and integration of all involved trades, especially building, electrical, EMSR, ventilation, and cleanroom technology
• Accompanying projects through all phases, from planning to successful commissioning and realisation
• Participation in the introduction, application, and further development of BIM methods and digital planning processes

Prospective development to AVEVA Super-User

• Support in the maintenance and administration of the AVEVA engineering platforms as well as their continuous further development
• Contact person for users in first- and second-level support as well as involvement in training and onboarding of new users
• Maintenance and further development of templates, standards, and databases as well as close cooperation with IT, engineering, and external partners

Your profile:

• Completed training, e.g. as a designer in plant or building planning or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in plant planning, process and/or building technology (preferably in the chemical/pharmaceutical environment)
• Sound knowledge of AVEVA CAD/CAE tools, experience as a key user, CAD administrator, or super-user is an advantage
• Several years of experience in CAD design (2D/3D)
• High resilience and a passion for digital planning
• Fluent German skills, very good English skills in spoken and written form
