Role:
Models in the lab are one thing, a reliable productive operation another. In this position as Site Reliability Engineer AI Platform, you build the technical foundation on which AI services run reliably, from the pipeline through deployment to monitoring. Automation, containerisation and clean interfaces determine your daily work. Specialist teams call on you when a prototype is to become a scalable service.
Responsibilities:
You transfer models and AI applications into the productive operation of a central service platform.
You build automated CI/CD and MLOps pipelines, harden them and keep them up to date.
In addition, you are responsible for availability, scaling, security and cost control of the platform.
You implement integrations via APIs and set up logging, monitoring and alerting.
Furthermore, you technically support specialist teams with prototypes and feasibility studies.
You also build reusable modules and document technical specifications in writing.
Qualifications:
You have studied computer science, completed a comparable education or acquired the knowledge in practice.
You have several years of experience operating complex platforms and deploying productive workloads.
You work confidently with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code and scripting, for example in Python.
You approach architectural decisions, operational issues and interface questions in a structured and pragmatic way.
You explain technical matters clearly, with negotiation-level German and fluent English in professional exchanges.
In addition, you follow developments around AI and cloud platforms on your own initiative.
