Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor / Project Manager Construction & Real Estate for the strategic and operational support of demanding building and real estate projects. You advise public and private clients and manage the interaction between owners, users, planning teams and other project participants. In addition to classic project management, you deal with forward-looking issues around repurposing, sustainability, digitalisation and suitable implementation models. You create sound decision-making bases and represent the interests of the client throughout the relevant project phases.
Responsibilities:
Assuming client advisory and client representation in complex building and real estate projects
Leading and managing projects in the interface between client, users, planners and contractors
Defining and monitoring project goals, costs, deadlines, quality and scope of services
Managing interdisciplinary planning and project teams and coordinating relevant stakeholders
Structuring decision-making, approval and reporting processes on the client side
Developing variant studies, decision bases and recommendations for clients and decision-making bodies
Advising on repurposing, transformation and existing building projects and reviewing alternative development strategies
Integrating sustainability requirements, such as heat protection, resource efficiency and reuse of existing building fabric
Advising on digitalisation and BIM processes on the client side
Evaluating suitable planning, procurement and implementation models such as single planner model, general planning, general contractor or total contractor
Conducting risk, interface and stakeholder management
Accompanying projects from strategic planning through design and implementation to commissioning and handover
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect ETH/FH or comparable university degree
Several years of project management experience with demanding building, existing building and repurposing projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge in client representation, project management as well as cost, schedule and quality management
Experience on the client side and/or with general or total contractors is an advantage
Knowledge of various procurement and implementation models as well as relevant SIA processes
Experience with topics such as sustainability, transformation and digitalisation/BIM in the real estate environment
Very good German skills, spoken and written
