Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced HVAC / Building Services Project Manager to handle and lead demanding building services projects in building and infrastructure construction. You will be responsible for planning heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, lead a small project team, and coordinate the technical interfaces with sanitation, electrical, and building automation. In addition to costs, deadlines, and quality, you will also accompany the projects during execution and maintain direct contact with clients, architects, and specialist planners. The role offers development opportunities towards technical or managerial responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and project handling in the HVAC field
Technical leadership and coordination of a project team of 2-4 employees
Conceptualisation, dimensioning, and planning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Creation and coordination of 2D-/3D-CAD and BIM planning
Spatial and technical specialist coordination of building services including sanitation, electrical, and building automation
Responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality control of the projects managed
Consultation and direct support of clients, architects, and other specialist planners
Organisation and participation in project, planning, and coordination meetings
Preparation of tenders, technical specifications, and award documents
Collaboration in site management, installation inspections, commissioning, and acceptance
Technical support in the training and supervision of apprentices
Participation in acquisition, offer preparation, and maintenance of the customer network
Qualifications:
Degree as Certified Technician HF Building Services HVAC or FH engineer specialising in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
Several years of experience in planning and project management of demanding HVAC projects
Sound knowledge in HVAC design, specialist coordination, and technical project execution
Experience with industry-specific CAD/BIM and calculation programmes in 2D and 3D
Good knowledge of relevant SIA and SWKI standards as well as Swiss planning practice
Experience in technical leadership of small project teams as well as site management
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
