To complete its team serving the Environment and green spaces, the Municipality of Plan-les-Ouates is looking for a:
Team Member (M/F)
Full-time position - Grade 8
Your main duties:
- Ensure the cleaning of public areas (empty bins, pick up litter, use a pressure washer, operate a sweeper, etc.);
- Comply with occupational safety measures "MSST";
- Set up municipal events and occasions such as erecting tents, placing tables and benches;
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of street furniture (restoring wooden benches, painting, replacing posts, etc.);
- Carry out snow duty in winter;
- Perform gardening tasks depending on the green spaces team’s staffing.
You are the person we are looking for if you:
- Hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a manual trade or equivalent training;
- Hold forklift licences R1 and R2;
- Have several years of experience in a similar role;
- Master sustainable development standards in maintenance;
- Ideally have training related to occupational safety and health protection requirements (MSST);
- Are proficient in French;
- Can work independently, are skilled and handy;
- Have a good team spirit and are comfortable interacting with diverse publics;
- Accept a high degree of flexibility in working hours: evenings, weekends, possible split shifts;
- During on-call duty, are able to reach the workplace within 30 minutes.
