Payroll Specialist - Basel (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Professional and timely execution of the monthly payroll for a defined employee group
Maintenance and updating of payroll-relevant personnel data as well as handling of entries, transfers, and exits
Calculation and processing of withholding tax, family allowances, and other payroll-relevant matters
Handling of accident, illness, disability insurance, maternity leave, and daily allowance cases
Advising employees and managers on payroll and social security matters
Conducting enquiries with authorities regarding permits, social insurances, and cross-border issues
Participation in payroll digitalisation projects and further development of internal services
Qualifications:
Commercial basic training, degree, or specialised further education in HR/payroll
Several years of professional experience in Swiss payroll administration
Good knowledge of social insurances and payroll-related legal regulations
Experience with SAP HCM; knowledge of other payroll and insurance applications is an advantage
Very good German skills as well as precise, reliable, and service-oriented working style
