Mandated by one of our clients in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for the following profile

Asbestos Remover (M/F)

Your profile:

• Prepare, organise and secure asbestos removal sites (confined areas, signage, preliminary checks).
• Implement procedures for the removal, encapsulation and containment of materials containing asbestos according to SUVA prescriptions and Swiss legislation.
• Correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection devices (decontamination units, negative pressure, filters, etc.).
• Sort, pack, label and evacuate asbestos waste to approved disposal channels.
• Complete site reports, monitoring sheets, waste manifests and traceability documents required by regulations.
• Work closely with the site manager, safety coordinators, measurement laboratories and other stakeholders (clients, authorities, etc.).
• Constantly ensure compliance with safety, occupational health and environmental protection standards.
• Participate in the maintenance, inspection and storage of asbestos removal equipment and PPE.

Your profile:

• Initial training in construction or structural work
• Proven experience in asbestos removal.
• Safety certificates recognised in Switzerland are highly appreciated: SUVA basic safety, special work, harness use, slinging.
• Knowledge of and compliance with Swiss occupational safety regulations.
• Authorisation to work in Switzerland (Swiss / EU-EFTA nationality or valid work permit) mandatory
