ERP Business Application Owner (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to not only operate an ERP but also shape it? As an ERP Business Application Owner, you are the central point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an internationally positioned industrial environment. Your decisions shape how financial and logistics processes will run in the future. You combine technical depth with leadership strength and significantly advance a team of application specialists. Your voice counts when it comes to architecture, rollouts, and priorities.
Responsibilities:
You lead the ERP specialists, develop them further, and manage capacities both internally and externally.
Additionally, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and documentation of Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Business Central.
You strategically drive the further development of the ERP landscape and plan cross-country rollouts.
You take on the management of IT projects and subprojects and actively participate in demanding initiatives.
Furthermore, you ensure support from first to third level and assist users with advice and practical help.
You also manage external service providers and suppliers worldwide and promote best practices as well as knowledge exchange within the team.
Qualifications:
You are very familiar with FSCM and ideally have already worked with it in a leadership role.
You have completed a university degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, a technical field, or economics.
A further qualification in business administration rounds off your profile.
Furthermore, you have led ERP projects, been responsible for applications, and understand industrial processes in detail.
Experience with older Business Central versions and from international teams gives you an advantage.
You also enjoy working in a hybrid setting and negotiate convincingly in both German and English.
