Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager HVAC / Building Technology for the independent planning and realisation of demanding building technology projects. You will accompany projects in the areas of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) through all project phases and take responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality. You will advise clients and coordinate collaboration with architecture, sanitary, electrical, fire protection, specialist planners and contractors. The position combines technical planning with project management and specialist site supervision and offers scope for sustainable and energy-efficient building technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of demanding HVAC and building technology projects across all relevant project phases
Planning and dimensioning of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for new build, conversion and renovation projects
Development of concepts, calculations, schematics, plans and technical specifications
Responsibility for cost planning, schedule management, quality assurance and project controlling
Technical advice to clients and principals regarding economical, sustainable and energy-efficient HVAC solutions
Coordination of technical interfaces with sanitary, electrical, building automation and fire protection as well as with architecture and other specialist planners
Preparation and processing of tenders, specifications and award documents
Conducting and leading project, coordination and construction meetings
Assuming specialist site supervision HVAC including execution checks, approvals and support during commissioning
Coordination of contractors, suppliers, specialist planners and authorities during planning and implementation
Participation in the further development of planning standards, digital processes and internal quality guidelines
Qualifications:
Completed training as building technology planner EFZ heating or ventilation or comparable technical basic training in building technology
Further education at HF/FH level in building technology, energy and environmental technology or related field is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in planning and realisation of HVAC projects
Practical experience in project management and specialist site supervision as well as collaboration with clients and specialist planners
Sound knowledge in HVAC planning, tendering, cost planning and commissioning
Confident handling of common CAD/building technology planning tools and Microsoft 365
Very good German language skills for technical documentation, tenders and project coordination
