Role:
Cloud projects are growing rapidly, and this is exactly where you start as an Azure System Engineer (Junior). You accompany the transition of classic server landscapes to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365). Experienced colleagues support you, and you learn every day. Automation, security, and modern workplaces shape your daily routine.
Responsibilities:
You automate recurring administrative tasks with PowerShell and provision resources with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
You actively assist in migration projects from on-premises to the cloud.
You configure Microsoft Entra ID with roles, groups, and permissions and help with Conditional Access as well as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Furthermore, you manage Windows and mobile devices with Microsoft Intune.
Additionally, you analyse disruptions in the cloud environment and resolve them together with the team.
You also operate central Azure services, contribute to security policies, and keep the technical documentation up to date.
Qualifications:
You already have initial practical experience with cloud platforms and M365 services.
You know the basics of PowerShell and ideally have already worked with Bicep or a similar IaC tool.
You understand concepts around identity, RBAC, and cloud security at a basic level.
Network topics such as DNS, routing, TCP/IP, VPN, and subnetting are familiar to you. Ideally, you also know firewalls from Fortinet or comparable manufacturers.
You communicate confidently in German and can read English technical documentation with ease.
Additionally, you ideally have some experience with endpoint management and device compliance and want to deepen your knowledge in cloud automation.
