Role:
Modern workplaces do not arise by themselves but through clean engineering. As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you technically develop the digital work environment further and ensure stable operation. Intune, Azure, and group policies are part of your daily toolkit. Automation with PowerShell is not a side issue for you but standard. You can expect a technically demanding environment with large client landscapes.
Responsibilities:
You develop the client platform further and operate modern workplace solutions stably and securely.
You install and configure desktop virtualisation solutions including images, profiles, and resource control.
You automate operational and deployment processes using scripting and reduce manual interventions.
Furthermore, you plan and implement hardware and software rollouts including packaging and distribution.
Additionally, you provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the client area including root cause analyses.
You also work closely with the cybersecurity area and harden end devices and policies.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education (FH/HF or equivalent).
You have several years of experience in larger IT environments with a focus on client management, at least four years.
You are familiar with Microsoft Group Policies (GPO) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) in detail.
You work proficiently with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager as well as with virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere.
Very good scripting skills and solid know-how in the ITSM environment complete your technical profile.
Additionally, you communicate confidently in German, work solution-oriented, and ideally have Microsoft certifications.
