In this role, as a DevOps and systems engineering engineer, you design stable, secure, and high-performance environments for distributed software systems. You take responsibility for the entire infrastructure lifecycle – from conception through implementation to operation and continuous optimisation. You use automation tools and modern technologies to standardise deployments, accelerate processes, and operate system landscapes efficiently. You analyse complex system requirements, identify improvement potentials, and implement suitable technical solutions. Through your structured approach and sound expertise, you ensure that demanding projects are supported reliably, scalably, and sustainably.
Responsibilities:
You successfully implement demanding large-scale projects as a DevOps engineer within a team
In this role, you work closely with your team and consistently align your actions with common goals
You take on tasks independently, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a high level of commitment
As a DevOps engineer, you quickly acquire new areas of expertise and apply your knowledge directly in projects
You develop simple, robust solutions while consistently ensuring high quality
In this role, you actively shape the further development of our system landscape with your passion for technology and improvement
Qualifications:
You hold a (technical) university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
You have at least five years of experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, ideally including their configuration.
You work confidently with Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and microservices and apply these technologies practically.
You have basic knowledge of working with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
You are proficient with tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence.
Ideally, you have an interest in DevOps, Python, and Ansible.
You have good German (at least B2) and English skills.
