Role:
In this role, you identify, analyse, and handle security incidents focusing on mobile devices, applications, and networks. You are responsible for real-time detection and respond efficiently to threats to contain their impact effectively. You draw on solid knowledge of iOS and Android security, mobile attack scenarios, and MDM solutions. You initiate escalations, assess risks, and implement appropriate countermeasures. Your expertise significantly contributes to effectively protecting mobile infrastructures from cyberattacks.
Responsibilities:
- You monitor security-relevant events and logs from SIEM, EDR/XDR, and other tools for early incident detection
- In this role, you initiate first measures to contain mobile security incidents
- As a security incident analyst, you work closely with internal teams, customers, and partners to resolve incidents efficiently
- You identify threats to mobile devices, applications, and networks and derive suitable protective measures
- You further develop incident response playbooks and ensure their currency in the area of mobile security incidents
- You support the SOC Operations Specialist with cross-functional tasks in daily operations
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in computer science, IT security, cybersecurity, or a comparable field
- Several years of practical experience in IT security or network environments, ideally at least two years of professional experience
- Familiar with SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, endpoint security, and threat intelligence
- Solid knowledge in incident response and in recognising and analysing cyberattack techniques
- Confident handling of tools such as Lookout MES, Defender for Endpoint, or Zimperium
- Strong communication skills in direct customer contact and experienced in 2nd-level support environments
