Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management of demanding residential construction projects in the canton of Solothurn. You will take over the operational control of construction execution and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines and quality requirements. In doing so, you coordinate contractors, specialist planners and suppliers and ensure the constructive and functional flawless implementation of the planning. The position combines classic construction management, construction cost management and scheduling with diverse projects in Swiss residential construction.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of residential projects from execution preparation to acceptance and handover
Coordination and leadership of contractors, specialist planners, suppliers and other project participants on site
Responsibility for ongoing cost, schedule and quality control as well as initiation of corrective measures in case of deviations
Creation, maintenance and monitoring of construction programmes and schedules with MS Project
Support with tendering, offer comparisons and awards as well as technical review of contractor offers
Conducting construction meetings, preparing minutes and consistent monitoring of pending issues and agreed measures
Handling of construction cost administration with Messerli Bauad including quantity, invoice and supplementary control
Review of construction execution based on work, detail and execution plans and ensuring constructive correct implementation
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services and finishing trades
Conducting quality controls, acceptances and defect management as well as monitoring defect rectification
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, contracts and Swiss building regulations
Accompanying commissioning, handovers and project completions including checking final documentation
Qualifications:
Construction-specific basic training EFZ with further training as construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning/architecture or comparable qualification
Several years of execution and construction management experience in Swiss building construction, ideally in residential construction
Sound knowledge of construction process, cost control, scheduling and quality assurance
Experience in tendering, awarding, quantity, invoice and supplementary control
Good user knowledge of Messerli Bauad and MS Project
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Good German language skills spoken and written
