As an IT & Security Operations Specialist, you monitor central IT and network environments and ensure reliable operation around the clock. You detect events and disruptions early, analyse technical causes, and coordinate the necessary measures until sustainable resolution.
The position combines classic network operations with security monitoring and incident management. At the same time, it offers you the opportunity to engage with automation, modern monitoring solutions, and AI-supported technologies.
Responsibilities:
Continuous monitoring of IT, network, telecommunications, and OT systems
Handling and documentation of incidents including classification, prioritisation, and escalation
Analysis of security events and support in detecting and handling security incidents
Technical troubleshooting of complex disruptions in network, IT, and security infrastructures
Coordination of internal specialists, field services, 2nd-level teams, and external partners
Further development of monitoring, incident, and automation processes as well as evaluation of new technologies
Qualifications:
Degree or higher education in computer science, network technology, cybersecurity, or comparable
Good technical knowledge of IT and network infrastructures
Practical experience with monitoring and ticketing tools
Strong interest in security operations, monitoring, automation, and AI-supported solutions
Independent and analytical working style as well as enjoyment of teamwork and technical exchange
Fluent German and English skills, Italian an advantage, and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift model
