Chief Accountant (70-100%) - Permanent Contract - Delémont

Founded in 2001, the Fed Finance firm specialises in temporary and permanent recruitment for accounting and finance professions.

We are recruiting on behalf of a Swiss organisation, active in the healthcare sector and based in the canton of Jura, a Chief Accountant at 70-100%, on a permanent contract.

Your main duties will be as follows:

-Supervise daily accounting and financial operations;
-Manage and support an administrative and accounting team;
-Lead the closing processes and ensure the reliability of accounts;
-Oversee general accounting, debtors, creditors, and treasury;
-Ensure follow-up of invoicing and payroll;
-Coordinate budget preparation and consolidate financial data from various departments;
-Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and management control;
-Participate in the implementation and improvement of the internal control system;
-Optimise financial and administrative processes in collaboration with operational teams;
-Support the evolution of IT tools and the digitalisation of processes;
-Work closely with the financial management and heads of various departments.

Profile sought:

-You hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, a federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting, or an equivalent qualification;
-You ideally have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a good command of accounting and financial management;
-You have experience in team management and appreciate close management;
-You master closing processes, budget management, and reporting;
-You have good knowledge of cost accounting and internal control;
-You are comfortable with IT tools and appreciate evolving environments;
-You are autonomous, rigorous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities;
-You have good interpersonal skills and know how to collaborate with different departments;
-Experience in the healthcare sector, a foundation, or a semi-public organisation is an asset.
