Project Manager Ventilation | Air Conditioning (m/f/d)

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist as a Project Manager Ventilation / Air Conditioning for the planning, analysis and optimisation of modern ventilation and air conditioning systems in a specialised Swiss building technology company. You will develop energy-efficient ventilation, air conditioning and indoor comfort concepts for new buildings as well as existing commercial, industrial and residential buildings. The focus is on condition analysis of existing systems, technical project planning, CAD planning with Trimble Nova, as well as modernisation and energy-efficient operational optimisation of HVAC systems. The position combines technical project responsibility with sustainable building technology and offers diverse development opportunities in integrated indoor climate planning and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Project management ventilation / air conditioning: Independent planning, coordination and handling of demanding ventilation and air conditioning projects from analysis to realisation.
Condition analyses of existing systems: Technical assessment of ventilation units, air distribution systems, air conditioning systems and control components regarding function, energy efficiency and operational safety.
Ventilation and air conditioning concepts: Development of indoor climate concepts, ventilation systems, comfort air conditioning and energy-efficient system solutions for new and existing buildings.
System modernisation and refurbishment: Planning and support of system replacement, retrofit projects, energy refurbishments and technical optimisation measures.
CAD and execution planning: Creation and coordination of concept, project, execution and detail plans using Trimble Nova or comparable building technology software.
Technical calculations: Performing air volume calculations, duct network dimensioning, pressure loss calculations as well as heating and cooling load assessments.
Energy and operational optimisation: Development of sustainable operating concepts, control strategies, heat recovery solutions and measures to reduce energy consumption.
Technical reports and consulting: Preparation of condition reports, variant studies, cost-effectiveness analyses and recommendations for action for clients and operators.
Specialist planner coordination: Coordination with architects, structural engineers, building services planners, building automation specialists and other project participants.
Project management: Monitoring project costs, deadlines, technical interfaces and quality requirements.
Standards and quality assurance: Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, hygiene requirements and cantonal energy regulations.
Execution support and commissioning: Professional support of installation work, functional checks, air volume measurements, commissioning and system acceptance.
Qualifications:
Completed or ongoing further education as a certified technician HF building technology or building services engineer FH, preferably specialising in ventilation and air conditioning technology.
Professional experience in planning, project design or optimisation of ventilation and air conditioning systems, ideally in the Swiss building technology market.
Sound knowledge of ventilation technology, indoor climate control, air distribution, heat recovery and energy-efficient system technology.
Very good CAD skills, ideally with Trimble Nova, as well as confident use of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and SWKI guidelines, especially in the areas of ventilation, indoor comfort, energy efficiency and hygiene.
Experience in condition analyses, system modernisation, technical calculations and energy-efficient operational optimisation.
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical reports, project coordination and client consulting.
