Linux Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Support and further development of Linux systems as well as storage
Life-cycle management and operation of GitLab instances, including CI/CD runners, registry, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes
Integration and operation of open source solutions for other services
The position is excellently suited to complete an MSE master’s degree alongside work
Qualifications:
A completed education in the field of IT/computer science as well as several years of professional experience are mandatory
University degree in ICT, computer science, engineering or comparable qualification with further training
Many years of experience in system administration (especially Linux) and DevOps with Docker, KVM, Kubernetes
Experience in automating system setups, e.g. with Ansible
Very good knowledge of GitLab, registry, Traefik
Experience with Linux iptables/nftables firewalls, Linux containers, SSH and CLI
Knowledge in using REST and GitLab APIs with Python or similar programming languages
You are team-oriented and customer-oriented, especially in the academic environment
German language skills are mandatory
