Permanent Contract - General Accountant 80/100% - Aigle

Founded in 2001, the Fed Finance firm specialises in temporary and permanent recruitment for accounting and finance professions.

We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative and fast-growing startup, active in a technological and industrial environment, a General Accountant at 100% on a permanent contract, based in the Aigle region.

In a context of internalising accounting and structuring financial processes, your main tasks will be as follows:

- Independently manage general accounting, suppliers and clients;
- Handle supplier invoices, payments and debtor follow-up;
- Perform bank reconciliations, account monitoring and expense reports;
- Take charge of monthly and annual closings, including adjustment entries and provisions;
- Monitor fixed assets, depreciation and stock;
- Prepare VAT and withholding tax returns;
- Perform payroll-related reconciliations;
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reporting;
- Prepare documents necessary for internal and external audits;
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of accounting processes.

Profile sought:

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or an equivalent qualification;
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in general accounting;
- You are capable of managing routine accounting operations and closings independently;
- You possess a good knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP / IFRS standards;
- You are comfortable with fixed asset monitoring and stock management;
- You master Excel, notably pivot tables and lookup functions;
- Ideally, you know Odoo or are able to quickly train on this ERP;
- You have an excellent level of English;
- You are recognised for your rigour, autonomy and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment;
