An IT service company offers virtualised workplace solutions and supports customers in migrating their IT infrastructure to modern data centre environments. The company relies on established virtualisation technologies and accompanies its customers from analysis through implementation to complete conversion. Currently, exciting migration projects as well as the modernisation of workplace environments to current operating systems are the focus.
- Creation and configuration of virtual server and client environments
- Coordination of the conversion of specialised applications with manufacturers
- Implementation of firewall rules and network security solutions with SOPHOS
- Migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 including testing
- Experience with server migrations and virtualisation technologies necessary
- Confident handling of SOPHOS firewall configurations demanded
- Technical know-how in Active Directory and Exchange environments
- Project coordination with customers and software manufacturers is expected
- Working with leading technologies such as Omnissa Horizon and VMware
- Independent project coordination from analysis to implementation
- Varied tasks between server environments and client systems
- Technical working environment with a high degree of creative freedom in IT solutions
Tasks
- Migration of virtualised workplaces based on Omnissa Horizon- Creation and configuration of virtual server and client environments

Profile
- Sound knowledge of VMWare Horizon and DEM required- Experience with server migrations and virtualisation technologies necessary
- Confident handling of SOPHOS firewall configurations demanded
- Technical know-how in Active Directory and Exchange environments
- Project coordination with customers and software manufacturers is expected
