Exciting tasks await:
- Support in the development of the task and financial plan as well as the annual report
- Preparation of documents for the department management for commission meetings
- Development of fundamentals and support of the Controlling and Projects team
- Collaboration on ongoing projects
- You will gain in-depth insights into administrative processes and quality assurance of government affairs
What you bring:
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in economics, political or social sciences)
- Interest in political events as well as planning and controlling tasks
- Confident written expression with very good German skills and a flair for numbers
- Quick comprehension as well as analytical, precise and reliable working style
- Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel)

Your working environment
The Department of Finance and Resources with around 650 employees is a cross-sectional department responsible for ensuring that the canton has the resources necessary to fulfil its tasks.
The General Secretariat plans, manages and coordinates the overarching strategic and operational administrative activities. The staff provide partnership-based and effective leadership support for the department head and the divisions. Services include communication, personnel management, planning and controlling of affairs, accounting, project coordination, legal services and quality assurance.
