Production Operator

Based in Chavornay, in the canton of Vaud, our client active in the industrial production of printing inks is looking for a Production Operator for a temporary assignment of indefinite duration. The position focuses on manufacturing activities in a demanding industrial environment, with shift work in 3 teams and possible presence on Saturday mornings. The opportunity is aimed at individuals with some experience in an industrial setting, comfortable with physical work and handling chemicals, wishing to join a production team and provide versatile support to various service operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the different stages of the printing ink production process, strictly following instructions given by management and the department.
• Provide support to production teams according to operational needs, accepting changes in positions and tasks based on defined priorities.
• Always comply with safety rules, internal procedures, and instructions related to the handling of chemicals and solvents used in production.
• Contribute to maintaining order, cleanliness, and tidiness in work areas, ensuring an industrial environment that meets production requirements.
• Work according to 3-shift schedules, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with occasional availability for Saturday morning interventions if necessary.

• Professional experience in an industrial environment

• Good physical condition

• Residence in the Chavornay region or nearby with a valid Swiss residence permit

Benefits

• Hourly wage: gross salary of CHF 27.50 per hour, paid according to applicable provisions and based on hours actually worked.
