Project Manager

The Social Support and Guidance Unit (PASO) attached to the Directorate of Integration and Solidarity (DIRIS) of the General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS), is responsible for monitoring and developing projects and programmes in the field of reception, advice, support and social guidance. To strengthen its team, PASO is looking for a Project Manager.

• Ensure coherence, coordination and an overall vision between partners and projects led by the DGCS for social support and guidance of young adults (FORJAD) and adults (FORMAD) without completed vocational training.
• Monitor, contract and supervise PASO partners providing social support and guidance services to people orienting themselves towards or undergoing training.
• Advise and inform social action partners, superiors, the Department Head and all concerned parties on the subject and assigned projects.
• Develop new projects in the field of social support and guidance for people without vocational training or those in training.
• Participate in the development work of population social support and lead projects within this framework.

• Master’s degree in social or political sciences or equivalent qualification required.
• Project management training desired.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the social field or project management.
• Good knowledge of the Vaud cantonal administration and social policy domain.
• Proficiency in common IT tools.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
• Excellent writing, analytical and synthesis skills.
• Proven adaptability and flexibility.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Organisational and planning skills, excellent priority management.
• Good leadership.
