Job Description
Within a nationally active reference structure, you will join a specialised team working directly with hotel and restaurant establishments. In this role combining fieldwork, analysis and advice, you will independently conduct visits to companies in the sector, analyse various operational and administrative situations, and prepare reports and recommendations for stakeholders. As a true local contact, you will support establishment managers on various topics related to managing their activity and applying the sector-specific collective agreements. Thanks to your listening skills, diplomacy and professional credibility, you will establish constructive dialogue with diverse interlocutors while ensuring a rigorous, objective and impartial approach. You will also participate in handling specific cases, preparing detailed reports, conducting analyses, and contributing to various projects and cross-functional tasks. This role offers great autonomy, a wide variety of interventions, and privileged contacts with key players in the hospitality and catering sector in French-speaking Switzerland.
Profile Sought
Coming from the hospitality or catering sector, you hold a recognised qualification from a hotel school or an equivalent course, complemented by solid operational and managerial experience in hospitality and catering, which has allowed you to acquire a deep understanding of the realities on the ground and the organisational, administrative and human challenges related to the HORECA sector. You also have an excellent knowledge of the local economic fabric, the sector’s stakeholders, and a mastery of the main legal and collective frameworks governing hospitality and catering in Switzerland. You possess excellent writing skills, demonstrate rigour in analysis, and are recognised for your listening skills, diplomacy and interpersonal ease. Used to working autonomously, you know how to show discernment, firmness and credibility when dealing with diverse interlocutors. With a strong sense of professional ethics and a pragmatic approach, you appreciate roles combining fieldwork, analysis and advice. Fluency in French is essential. Strong knowledge of German is an indispensable prerequisite for this role, as is holding a valid driving licence.
