Role:
A modern workplace stands or falls with well-managed end devices. As a Microsoft 365 Workplace Engineer, you take responsibility for the Windows and mobile platform within a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. You think about automation from the start and are not satisfied with workarounds. Here you actively shape standards and technically advance the environment.
Responsibilities:
You configure Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS, and Android devices and further develop configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security settings.
You are responsible for patch management with update rings as well as feature and quality updates.
Furthermore, you package applications and distribute them automatically to clients.
With PowerShell, you automate administrative routines as well as onboarding and offboarding processes including licence and rights assignment.
You analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and conduct root cause analyses for recurring problems.
Additionally, you support Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, plan migrations and changes, and keep documentation and operational concepts up to date.
Qualifications:
You bring at least 3 years of experience in endpoint, workplace, or client engineering.
You have in-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 and are confident working with Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
You have practical experience with Intune, MDM, MAM, and device enrolment, as well as with compliance and security policies.
Furthermore, you have already deployed clients with Windows Autopilot and are familiar with Windows Update for Business and automated software deployments.
You are proficient in scripting with PowerShell and understand the interplay of identity, security, and endpoint management.
Moreover, you tackle problems analytically and persistently, communicate clearly in German, and read English technical documentation effortlessly.
