Medical Assistant 40% + Permanent Hourly Replacement Contract

PROFA, a foundation recognised as being of public utility by the State of Vaud, offers spaces for discussion in the field of intimacy throughout the canton.

Within our Consultation Centres, we welcome anyone seeking answers to questions about their emotional life and sexual activity (contraception, sexual orientation, HIV tests, STI screening, support for choices in case of unplanned pregnancy, experiences of violence).

We wish to recruit for the Sexual Health Consultation (CSS) in Lausanne and Renens

General duties of the position

Within a dynamic team, composed of a doctor and a sexual health counsellor, you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming clients and making appointments
• Opening and maintaining client files using the Axenita software
• Providing care (blood tests, rapid screening tests, vaccines, injections…)
• Assisting the doctor with certain procedures (insertion of intrauterine devices, subcutaneous implants, etc.)
• Billing and collecting payments for services
• Managing the cash register of the consultation centre
• Managing the stock of medical supplies and medications

Profile sought

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as medical assistant / ASSC or equivalent (medical secretary training is not considered equivalent)
• Comfortable with administrative tasks
• Interest in sexual health and prevention
• Experience with adolescents, migrants, LGBTIQ persons is a plus
• Good listening skills and interpersonal abilities
• Autonomy, organisation, discretion, reliability and a welcoming attitude
• Good command of common IT tools; knowledge of Axenita (or patient file management software) is an asset
• Fluency in French

• Permanent contract (CDI) at 40% + permanent hourly replacement contract
• Salary: classes 10 – 15 CCT SAN
• Start date: 1 January 2027 or by agreement
• Workplace: Lausanne and Renens
• Consultation days: Monday, Thursday or Friday
