IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 105,000Responsibilities:
- You independently take over 2nd level support, prioritise requests and ensure their complete follow-up and documentation.
- In this role, you support 1st level support, represent the team when needed and assist employees on-site as well as remotely with IT issues.
- As IT system support and user support, you administer the virtualised Windows and Linux server environment, network components and central IT systems.
- You are responsible for maintenance, updates and system care, monitor system availability and manage central Microsoft 365 services as well as other cloud applications.
- In this role, you technically implement information security policies, identify and resolve vulnerabilities and carry out structured patch and backup management.
- As IT system support and user support, you contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes, IT migrations as well as the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally specialising in system technology, or comparable technical vocational training
- Solid practical experience in the administration of Windows and Linux server environments as well as in the stable operation of IT infrastructures
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment (identity and access management, Exchange Online, endpoint management) and basic understanding of networks, IT infrastructure and IT security
- Experience in 2nd level support as well as willingness to assist in 1st level support and take on representation duties when needed
- Familiar with patch management, vulnerability remediation, monitoring as well as backup and restore processes, including careful documentation of technical changes
- Strong service orientation, structured and responsible working style as well as confident German and good English skills (French is an advantage)
