For our client, an industrial SME headquartered in Winterthur with additional locations in Switzerland, we are seeking an independent and responsible
Finance and Controlling Specialist (a)
Your tasks
In this versatile role, you coordinate financial processes and lead a small accounting team. You advise the management and various internal contacts on financial matters. You keep an eye on ongoing bookkeeping, monitor outstanding receivables and payables, and ensure correct handling of tax obligations. Furthermore, you prepare meaningful reports, analyse business management key figures, and prepare relevant information as a basis for management decisions. You also participate in financial statements, monitor cost developments, and manage insurance matters. If necessary, you also support personnel administration and take on tasks related to payroll processing.
Your profile
- Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting or a business degree with relevant specialisation
- Several years of practical experience in finance and accounting (confident in financial statements)
- Good knowledge of common accounting or enterprise software
- Independent, precise and solution-oriented working style
- Sense of responsibility, trustworthiness and professional handling of confidential information
- Enjoyment of teamwork and optimising existing processes
- Willingness to take on both professional responsibility and actively participate in day-to-day business
